Our 2023 race captured peak spring beauty and challenged riders with everything Armenia’s spring had to offer. Adrien Liechti was our first ever winner in 5 days, 11 hours, and 45 minutes. Second finisher: Kai-Uwe Lehung. Third: Jacob Hora.

Our Mission
Ascend Armenia is organized to build awareness and support of cycling in Armenia. We want to showcase this beautiful country — her warm, hospitable people, rich culture, and breathtaking terrain — to cyclists from around the world.
Why by Bike?
Traveling by bicycle allows us to move at a slower speed — one that invites human encounters, cross-cultural exchanges, and deep appreciation for the natural environment. It’s the best way to truly experience a place.
The Community
Beyond the ultra-distance race, we organise local cycling events and competitions that build the cycling community in Armenia and help represent the country more authentically to the wider world.
